The San Luis Obispo Botanical Garden displays Mediterranean climate plants from California, South Africa, Australia and around the Mediterranean Sea. This botanical garden is still young and the gardens and displays are still being developed.

Located west of San Luis Obispo in El Chorro Regional Park just 8.5 miles from the convention hotel. Parking on weekends is $3. Admission to the Garden is $10. Take Madonna Road north over the 101 freeway and immediately enter the freeway northbound. Travel 0.9 miles north and take exit 203b and follow the signs for Highway 1, Morro Bay/Hearst Castle. Proceed 5.5 miles west and turn right onto Dairy Road. Proceed to Botanical Garden.
